Product Description
CO Experts Home Safety PRO-10 Low-Level Carbon Monoxide Monitor - 2016-10
Monitor low-level carbon monoxide in your home. The CO Experts Home Safety PRO-10, model 2016-10, displays current carbon monoxide concentrations from 7 to 50 ppm and provides audible warnings beginning at 10 ppm. Above 50 ppm, the display reads High.
A supplemental monitor for your home: use it alongside the listed CO alarms required for your installation. It is not UL 2034 or CSA 6.19 listed and does not replace a code-required alarm.
Why Choose the PRO-10?
- Low-level numeric readout: view detected CO within the documented 7-50 ppm range.
- Low-level audible warning: a 10 ppm starting alarm point complements your required alarms.
- Flexible placement: use the included stand or wall-mount accessories in a suitable indoor location.
- Exposure history: recall the highest reading from the preceding 24 hours.
Is This the Right CO Monitor for You?
Choose the PRO-10 when your priority is low-level CO information and a portable tabletop or wall-mounted monitor. If you need an alarm for building-code compliance, select an appropriately listed alarm and confirm the installation requirements locally. Many buyers use a supplemental monitor alongside that required alarm.
When comparing low-level monitors, compare the displayed range, the starting audible-warning concentration, alarm behavior, mounting method and replacement interval. A display threshold is not an alarm threshold, and a beep repetition interval is not a time-to-alarm specification.
Display and Audible Warning Levels
- 10–24 ppm: Four beeps once per minute
- 25–34 ppm: Four beeps once per minute
- 35–50 ppm: Four beeps twice per minute
- Above 50 ppm / High: Four beeps three times per minute
The monitor also has manual and automatic silence functions. Automatic silence begins after four minutes of an unsilenced alarm; silence duration depends on the CO range. See the owner's manual for the full behavior and response instructions. Do not interpret silence as evidence that CO has cleared.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the PRO-10 alarm at 7 ppm?
No. Seven ppm is the beginning of its numeric display range. Audible warnings begin at 10 ppm.
Does it measure carbon monoxide in my blood?
No. The COHb screen is an estimate for a typical adult based on exposure, not a blood measurement or medical diagnosis.
Can I use it outdoors or in a garage?
It is intended for suitable indoor residential conditions. Consult the manual before choosing any portable-use location; avoid environments outside its permitted conditions.
When should I replace the PRO-10?
The current manual specifies five years of normal powered use and an end-of-life notification. Replace the unit when that notification appears, or sooner if a fault requires replacement. Follow the supplied manual for testing and maintenance.
Does it replace my required CO alarm?
No. Keep the appropriately listed alarms required for your property. This supplemental monitor does not satisfy a requirement for a listed alarm.
