ParticleScan� Instruments use laser technology to measure particle concentrations in ambient air. The instruments continuously measure the concentration of airborne particles and display an updated reading every six seconds on the easy to read LED display. The user is able to monitor particle concentration changes as they occur, and allows individual pollution sources to be tracked down by using the ParticleScan� as a �particle sniffer�.

Additionally, ParticleScan� Instruments can identify single particles from 0.3 microns to 5 microns (user selectable), making them far more sensitive than photometers which identify only particle clouds. All measurements can be easily stored to a PC or Palm� device (not included) using the supplied software.

The ParticleScan Pro is an advanced 6-channel laser particle counter with a detection range of 0.3 to 30 microns. With its 0.025 cfm flow rate it is particularly suitable for the measurement of airborne particle concentrations in normal and polluted indoor and outdoor environments. The ParticleScan Pro has an internal 14�366 data point memory and is fully network compatible with remote access via built-in web-server. It also features a USB port for direct connection to PC. User Selectable Particle Size Menu: Depending on application, the ParticleScan� Pro can measure across a range of common particle sizes. Detection ranges extend from 0.3 �m to 5.0 �m and are user selectable. Document and Download Job Levels to a PC or Palm OS�: Monitor and track indoor/outdoor particle concentrations with ParticleTrak� Software. Data can be downloaded using the included PC or Palm OS� serial adapters and software. Job documentation can then easily be printed, downloaded, or sent by email using standard software.
